What is a Standpipe?

A standpipe is a vertical pipe connected to a water source, providing an above-ground water outlet. Commonly used on construction sites, allotments, and industrial facilities, standpipes offer convenient, controlled access to water in areas without permanent plumbing.

Our Above Ground Standpipe is designed for long-term use with frost protection and durable components, making it ideal for year-round outdoor applications.

  • Internal insulation with 12MM foam to prevent freezing in cold weather.

  • Camlock door for security (padlock not included).

  • 20MM MDPE connector for reliable water connection.

  • 15MM plastic pipe for internal flow.

  • 1/2″ hose union bib tap for external water access.

  • Double check valve to prevent backflow contamination.

  • Drain off valve for efficient drainage.

  • 15MM stop tap, tee, elbow & inserts for secure water flow control.

  • 260MM hose pipe with a repair connector for easy maintenance.
